Could not retrieve the current project.' So as I see from what I get googling this issue - it's a serious problem in Visual Studio 2008 + SmartDevice projects and Wev Services. I saw that that was a problem with VS2005 also but they fixed it then - but what's with VS2008?? How come NOBODY in our great MS is doing NOTHING to fix this issue. The 2009 year is coming and still nothing!!!! The bad thing is that I really need this bug to be fixed, otherwise that great angry VS2008 is a real nothing for me now, and Im thinking about switching back to VS2005. Please guys help! Let's rule a few things out if possible: To begin, create a new Solution. With a new Smart Device Project inside 'TestProject' (since you're using straight web services set the targeted version of the Compact Framework to 2.0 instead of 3.5). Next, right-click on your project node in the Solution Explorer pane, and select the 'Add Web Reference.' Use the wizard to complete the generation of the proxy. Any errors or exceptions, and if so, at what point did they pop? Dude, I already did that great test you suggested zillion times before and after you told me to do that. And I already wrote you happens and when it happens two times. The result point is: MSDiscoCodeGenerator is a pile of sh17 - not informative, not verbal, not working. I mean what's the point in doing a great web services platform if one of the main unitilities doesn't wrk properly, more: nobody in Microsot cares - there are many many open threads on this issue - the people are still awaiting for a solution! Ik multimedia t-racks cs complete v4.7.1-r2r. This issue is discussed in. The suggested solution didn't work for me though. I have the very same problem (using Visual Studio 2008), & I tried reinstalling the.NET Compact Framework 2 SP2, 3.5 & SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP1 (& then started devenv /resetskippkgs), it didn't change anything to my problem. I got an error message (in French, sorry) that suggest to reinstall SQL Server Compact 3.5 & then devenv /resetskippkgs, but as I said it didn't solve anything.:- Did you solve your problem robiru, & if yes how did you do? Does anyone else have any clue? My web service works fine with regular.NET projects, but it seems to have problems with Compact Framework. Hi guys, I'm back to add a few details that might help. I don't really know any detail I could add to what I already described. 8 Outtakes from Amnesiac Started by grumblestiltskin, Jan 04 2011 12:11 PM. Exactly how rare is it then. Anyone know someone with it? Well that sig was fun. But I thought it meant like, actually new outtakes, and not songs we've heard over and over before:L eh, I guess we got an album cover and a radiohead-official. 8 outtakes from amnesiac rarity movie. 2001 was a big year for Radiohead, what with the release of 'Amnesiac,' various singles, and a live album. In all of this, '8 Outtakes from Amnesiac' slipped under the radar unnoticed. 8 Outtakes From Amnesiac [p] Promo. 2001 CD-R Warner/Chappell. 10 Reviews Page. I'm such a big R.E.M. Fan that I've actually heard 'Airportman,' me saying anything bad about them is pretty rare. 'Cuttooth' almost sounds like U2 on downers, and reunites the band with their guitar-oriented past, but the real find here is 'Fog.' I'm running Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition (in French), & I have in my solution a 'Web Service ASP.NET Application' providing a simple HelloWorld service, a 'Windows Form C# Application' to test this web service (under which the stub generation works perfectly), & a 'Compact Framework Form application (.NET CF v2)' also trying to use the same web service (under which the web service stub generation doesn't work). When I click on 'Add web Reference', the web service detection goes well (it can find my server running, & the definition of my HelloWorld test function, but then it opens a messagebox saying that I should try reinstalling SQL Server Compact 3.5, & run devenv /resetskippkgs. See the screenshot here: The message says roughly: -------------------------------- The operation couldn't be terminated.
